Who We Are and What We're About

Birthed out of the desire to provide an affordable quality equipment resource for vocal artists, such as myself, schools, churches, and anyone else who uses proaudio and video equipment, National Sound Engineering of Augusta, (NSEA), opened on February 2, 2000, as a satellite office of National Sound Engineering.  NSEA quickly moved into the mainstream as a proaudio supplier to the Southern Gospel Music industry, as well as many other genre's of music, by providing personal technical service to both the small weekend warriors and the full time top artists today.  On May 26, 2005, we took a leap of faith and declared our independence by forming a Limited Liability Corporation named DirectOut Audio.  Our desire to continue providing the best products and services to our customers remains priority in our new business endeavor!

By working direct with the manufacturers, we are able to provide a direct connection to the numerous products lines in the audio and video arena. Yet,  still provide personal service by making ourselves available to our customers in a way that has been unmatched by others in the industry.

When you call DirectOut Audio, you will most likely be greeted by me, Loretta Lewallen, Owner.  As a vocal artist and user of proaudio equipment,  I have a good understanding for what it takes to set up live concert sound.  I'm one of those artists, like you I'm sure, who wants their sound to be incredible, but come in a little bitty box. If you have ever unloaded a bus or a trailer load of equipment, carried it inside, set it up, and then be ready to perform within the hour, you know why I feel that way.  DirectOut Audio considers just such factors when we design portable systems, for example.

Technical Support is provided by the "house engineer", Bi-vocational Pastor,  and my husband,  David Lewallen.  His extensive background in communications technology, signals analysis, and sound reinforcement has allowed him to troubleshoot the most difficult of situations. He is well known by many artists for his ability to solve their varied technical problems, albeit during concert setup, driving, and at all hours of the night (right, Dan?).   DirectOut Audio makes technical support your direct connection to the experts!
